Job Summary
The Administrative/Accounts Officer is responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations (finance management inclusive) and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- Assists office staff in maintaining files and database
- Prepares reports, presentations, memorandums, proposals and correspondence
- Assigns jobs and duties to office staff as needed
- Monitors office operations
- Schedules appointments and meetings for executives and upper level staff
- Serves as the go-to for office inquiries
- Manages staff schedules
- Tracks office supply inventory and approves supply orders
- Assists in the preparation of budgets and expenses
- Supervises all administrative personnel
- Handle payments, receipts and transactions
- Prepare accounts and financial reports
- Perform other responsibilities as required
Requirements
Education/Experience
- A Bachelor's or HND degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or any Social Science course is required.
- Previous work experience in a similar role (administrative and/or finance management) at a reputable (verifiable) organization will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point
