Corporate Legal Counsel Jan 30th 2013, 14:08 Location: Lagos Description: A niche player in agriculture and agro-commodities export for wealth creation in a distinctive, rewarding and responsible way. Due to our expansion we seek to employ a suitable and qualified person to fill this position in Lagos. Responsibilities: Set up the legal unit and be responsible for all Legal issues relating to the organization Manage litigation and liaise with external lawyers Provide commercial legal advice and solution for different aspects of the business Negotiate, review and draft commercial agreements. Manages Company Secretariat functions and Compliance Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of B.Sc. in Law with a minimum of Second Class Upper  Must have concluded the Nigerian Law School At least 3 years' experience in a similar role Must have understanding of laws and practice applicable to companies generally and particularly to those companies operating in Agriculture value chain, proficiency in immigration law inclusive Good understanding of regulatory matters e.g.: taxation, trademarks, patents etc Excellent communication and presentation skills in English Knowledge in commercial laws in middle Africa will be an added advantage Must be between the ages of 30 – 32 years If you are qualified for this position, Send your CV to 8b0a@jbng.me or click http://www.jobberman.com/job/185594/corporate-legal-counsel-in-lagos/ to apply
