We are major stockists, suppliers, and repairers Of Teaching, Research, Quality Control, Medical, and Environmental Laboratory Equipment, Chemicals And Glassware. We need qualified candidates to take up this position.
Responsibilities:- Packaging and ensuring that the goods are well kept in their respective shelves.
- General control over all activities in Stores Department.
- Ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of materials.
- Maintain proper records.
- Initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.7
- Initiate action for stoppage of further purchasing when the stock level approaches the maximum limit.
- Check and receive purchased materials forwarded by the receiving department and to arrange for the storage in appropriate places.
- Reserve a particular material for a specific job when so required.
- Take on additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements:- B.Sc/ HND in Physical Science, Medical Laboratory / Science Laboratory Technology
- Minimum of 1-2 years store-keeping/inventory management experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Must be computer literate
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills
