Teller/Cashier Jan 28th 2013, 14:41 Location: Lagos Description: A gadget firm requires the services of a qualified individual to fill this position. Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Sales Manager Responsibilities: The cashier is also responsible for keeping basic records of daily sales as well as preparation of daily, weekly and monthly sales reports. Accepts cash, checks, for payment; completes check and transactions according to established procedure. Counts money, gives change and issues receipt for funds received. Maintains sufficient amounts of change in cash drawer. Balances cash drawer and receipts; documents discrepancies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of OND in any related discipline At least 1 – 3 years' experience in a similar role Good cash management/tellering skills Diligent with high level of integrity in managing cash transactions Good knowledge in the sales mobile phone products Good use of basic computer applications.
