Trainer (ACCA/ICAN) Jan 3rd 2013, 09:39 Location: Lagos Description: An IT training, testing & consultancy company that operates through well-defined systems and procedures located in Lagos requires the services of a skilled individual to fill the position of Trainer (ACCA/ICAN). Job Summary: To work independently or within a team to conceptualize, create, format, revise, coordinate, and produce a variety of training. Responsibilities: Produce student requested deliverable with latitude and judgment while adhering to corporate standards, incorporates revisions and document formatting comments as required supporting organization-style guidelines. Use organizational skills to prioritize job elements, maintain time schedules, and monitor tasks. Able to follow procedures and processes as appropriate, and follows corporate branding guidelines as required. Monitors the availability of materials needed to complete course.  Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of B.Sc. in Accounting or any relevant discipline At least one (1) to three (3) years' experience in a similar role A broad knowledge and experience in accounting software packages (Sage, Peachtree, etc.) and desktop publishing A high level of proficiency using the Accounting software An expert level of proficiency using Microsoft PowerPoint (2003, 2007, and 2010) A moderate level of proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel (2003, 2007, and 2010) Strong oral and written communication skills  Ability to interface and communicate with customers at various levels within the organization is preferred.  Knowledge of grammatical rules, spelling, composition, and style is preferred  Must be accurate, discrete, flexible and creative  with problem solving and judgment skills. Must be able to work frequent, unlimited overtime as required, with little, short, or no notice.
