The DFID Graduate Recruitment Scheme 2013 will open for applications on Tuesday 15th January 2013 until 12th March 2013.
DFID’s Graduate Development Scheme offers a diverse range of work experience in key teams across DFID, all united by a single goal: to tackle poverty and help people in developing countries improve their lives.
During the paid 50 week development placement, you will work with experienced professionals on specific projects, for example, contributing to evaluating where, when and how DFID delivers the UK’s aid programme. You will take on a role suited to your skills experience, in one of a number of areas, including:

- Conflict, Humanitarian Crisis & Security
- EU, UN & Commonwealth Policy
- Private Sector Development
- Climate, Environment & Infrastructure
- Civil Society
- Youth Development and Policy
- World Health
- Agriculture, Food & Nutrition
- Research, Evidence & Evaluation
- Development Education
- Aid Project Analysis, Procurement, Value for Money Audit
- IT, Finance and HR
The Graduate Development Scheme will provide you with valuable work experience and challenges that will develop your skills across a broad range of areas.
