new processes, approaches, and technology that will continually drive improvements on performance and business results, maximizing value to the organization.   
.To take responsibility for the development and implementation of effective category strategies across the appropriate lines of business or the entire enterprise.  
.To research, identify and analyze current and emerging procurement trends, develop a deep understanding of market conditions, develop proposed supply chain solutions focusing on total cost of ownership and Supplier Diversity.  
.To build and leverage strong working relationships with internal customers and key suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.   
.To create and communicate a vision of potential opportunities with enthusiasm, and rally support for that vision while motivating others.
.Contribute to achievement of the development of a pool of local suppliers

KEY RELATIONSHIPS
. Relationships with stakeholders of commodity portfolio under their management which includes; Directors and Senior Staff across functional and hierarchical boundaries.
. The incumbent is responsible establishing, brokering and leveraging a wide and diverse span of relationships and alliances across functional boundaries within the Provincial Management and the head office specialist/ support network which is fundamental to the attainment of integration, coordination, budgetary control and commitment needed to achieve objectives and prompt problem resolution.
. Suppliers, limited to services rendered specific to the commodity portfolio under their management which includes engagement with but not limited to; Directors, Sales Managers, Business Owners etc.
. Commodity specific - engagement with;
. Procurement Managers, Commodity Managers, MIS Manager, The Policies and Contracts  Manager, The Logistics Manager,  the Finance Manager, the Supply Chain Director.
. Financial Shared Services, Internal Audit Department and Group Legal.
. Professional Bodies like IPSA and SAPICS.

Purpose of Job
To support the Team Leader, Settlements and confirmations, and Head, Custody Operations, in providing quality

service to clients in the areas of trade matching and settlements of trades.

Key Responsibilities
Clear understanding of MasterCard and Visa settlement process and procedures.
Understanding of governing principles and rules of  card settlement
Ensure timely Settlement of Card transactions
Responsibilities for card suspense accounts (to be cleared daily)
Balance incoming and outgoing transaction reports against settlement values received from the associations.
Apply correct entries to relevant Settlement, Expense or Revenue accounts daily
Responsible for ensuring that existing internal controls and regulatory policies over the settlement process are strictly adhered to
Ensure that merchant transactions are posted into appropriate GL  and accounts
Prompt funding of Nostro account in conjunction with Global market  team
Ensure appropriate bills/credit from MasterCard and Visa also are processed daily to Expense and Revenue account appropriately
Ensure Reconciliation Dashboard is properly produced and submitted timely to the appropriate  units

Job Description

He will be expected to perform the following tasks:
. The Financial Controller oversees the day to day activities of the finance team and ensures the companies finance function is organized and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts.
. Management of the finance function and overseeing the finance team.
. Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows.
. Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes.
. Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet.
. Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports.
. Implementation and maintenance of all financial controls and systems within the business.
. Cash management and treasury duties
. Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
. Overseeing the Payroll process.
. Overseeing all tax and regulatory compliance issues.

Job Requirements:
. More than 10 years' experience in similar position.
. Fully qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with previous financial control and management reporting experience.
. Experience in Aviation Industry would be advantageous
. You will be able to demonstrate your experience of managing an accounting team
. The candidate should be a confident self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment.
. You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making, and a hands on approach.
. Computer literate with excellent excel skills and solid understanding of relevant accounting software principles.
