Under direct supervision, prepares and deploys real-time geomechanical modeling applications in the field and office environment. Provides recommendations to the client that aide in the prevention or elimination of formation fluid influx, drilling fluid loss, and wellbore instability. Participates in the quality control processes defined by the practice and interacts with other technical professionals to ensure modeling solutions are timely, robust and of exceptional quality. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes. Skills typically acquired through completion of undergraduate degree in engineering or geoscience and at least 1 years of experience in drilling operations. Graduate degree in engineering or geoscience preferred. Knowledge of onshore and offshore drilling practices is required. Ability to demonstrate technical aptitude to standards is required. Must possess good communication, supervisory, interpersonal leadership, good verbal communication, presentation, technical writing, arithmetic, data entry, and recording skills. Proven competency in relevant computer software including Drillworks. Must possess relevant offshore certificates as required. Experience using data transfer systems such as WITS and WITSML. Must be able to explain and apply pore pressure, in situ stress, and rock mechanical property modeling into regional and field level interpretation under general supervision. Able to generate basic pre-drill pore pressure and geomechanics solutions to be utilized for well planning applications. Can support geomechanically dependent drilling operations and make reasonable recommendations for optimal well construction. Certifiable knowledge in one core G&G application and able to support some sub-products (poststack/pal, tdq, rave, earthcube, contour assistant, compass, wellplan, Sun, SGI, and IBM workstations). Some systems support capability for the geoscience and engineering professions, ability to work in client server environment. 2+ years of UNIX / PC knowledge. Proven competency in 1D Pore Pressure and In situ Stress Modeling using Drillworks (Proficient), 2D Wellbore Stability Modeling using Drillworks (Foundation), Compartment Pressure modeling using Drillworks SafeSeal (Foundation), WITS & WITML Connections with outside vendors (Proficient), prepare and present project results (Proficient), and provide sales support for real-time and pre-drill projects (Proficient). Locations may be remote and physically challenging; Fear of flying, water or heights would disqualify a potential applicant. Should be able to teach and mentor Drillworks Standard software package at various locations.

Brief Description

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Job Requirements

Additional Details

ACS requires Product Managers to support the rapid creation, prototyping and release of these Services leveraging the Service Release Process. Responsibilities of the Pricing Manager include:

1.             Maintain Services Product Catalogue

2.             Maintain POS Pricing Calculators for Cloud Priority Service, BCS for Systems

3.             Coordinate with Product Managers:

a.             VersionOne tickets for ePACT Releases to include understanding new pricing proposals, reviewing Pricing Workbook as part of the SRP process, entering V1 tickets, working with Engineering to determine how services/pricing should be added or modified in ePACT, monitor status of current V1 tickets and set meetings as appropriate with PMs and Engineering to clarify specs or bugs.

b.             VersionOne tickets for ESSPC Releases to include understanding pricing additions/changes, working with Bus Ops and Engineering to coordinate release schedule.

4.             Product Management's POC for ePACT issues to include working cross-functionally and within Product Management to set and maintain ePACT update request priorities, address and help resolve bug fixes, coordinate testing efforts within Product Management to verify service requests have been addressed and work as expected.

5.             Maintain a working knowledge of all pricing rules and exceptions for each service in the Portfolio and provide input on new pricing model proposals to insure consistency with current models or point out differences.

Job Specification:

The West African Health Organisation (WAHO), the health Institution of ECOWAS, and its partners announce its Young Professionals Internship Programme (YPIP) for 2014 which
will commence in January 2014 and hereby invite applications from citizens of member countries of ECOWAS
GoalThe goal of the programme is to equip young professionals with knowledge skills and experience for effective management of health problems in West Africa

Structure: 
The 12 month programme is divided into 4 stages (I - IV).
Stages I and IV will take place at the headquarters of WAHO in Burkina Faso, during which the interns will acquire knowledge and competence in basic principles of public health, a second official language of ECOWAS, computer and new information technology as well as basic principles of management and leadership. During stages II and III, the interns would be posted to host Institutions in different countries in West Africa to acquire practical skills and competencies in their technical areas of interest or professionals specialisation. The technical areas should respond to health needs of the sub-regions and the priority domains of WAHO.
