Follow-up vulnerability remediation plan, and ensure that non-compliance issues and other variances are resolved in a timely manner.</li> <li>Analyze information security issues and apply metrics to measure, monitor, and report on the effectiveness of information security controls and compliance with information security policies.</li> <li>Promote accountability by business process owners in managing information security risks.</li> <li>Analyze information security risks related to third parties and submit recommendations to the CISO.</li> <li>Manage information security projects and manage information security operations.</li> <li>Develop business case, budget requirements and terms of reference that support information security programs.</li> <li>Participate in the implementation of information security frameworks.</li> <li>Define and recommend information security baselines.</li> <li>Participate in negotiation relating to information security products or services.</li> <li>Develop and deliver effective information security education and awareness to influence culture and behaviour of staff.</li> <li>Provide expert advices and recommendations in respect of Information Security.</li> <li>Design, elaborate and implement processes for detecting, identifying and analyzing information security related events.</li> <li>Recommend response and recovery plans and options to information security related incident.</li> <li>Implement periodic testing of response and recovery plans where appropriate, and their execution as required.</li> <li>Document appropriately any information security incidents as a basis for subsequent action including forensics when necessary. Prepare administrative and technical responses involving social protection and poverty reduction related to OSFU portfolio in the country and manage existing projects in the Fragile State Facility, FSF;</li> <li>Serve as a liaison between incoming missions and project implementation team, gather up to date progress and real time information on the status of projects targeted by incoming mission and prepare a comprehensive briefing and or itinerary before arrival of mission.</li> <li>During the project/program preparation cycle missions, evaluate the Borrower's accounting systems and controls to ensure that their standards are acceptable as well as provide advisory technical support to the project/program team on matters of financial analysis and financial management;</li> <li>Task-manage a selected set of poverty reduction/social protection specific projects in the Country and prepare national poverty profiles, social protection priority areas in the Country, and MDG-related documents as requested by Unit Head</li> <li>Understand and have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the Bank rule on project management and the applicability of such rule to projects funded by the Bank</li> <li>Supervise on-going projects in social protection and poverty reduction in the country with specific attention to procurement of goods and services; review tender documents; evaluate the work of consultants and contractors; and contribute to the preparation of project completion reports and portfolio performance documents;</li> <li>In collaboration with the Task Team Leader, TTL assist/support in the design of new projects and serve as a focus person for the mission and coordinate with the project team to keep project in Bank scope and guidelines and regularly update team on management and progress.</li> <li>Coordinate loan administration, disbursement, procurement, portfolio performance-related activities for social protection and poverty reduction technical assistance and capacity building projects;</li> <li>Support and guide in coming mission on government actions and responsibilities, the best way forward in coordinating smooth discussion between the mission and government officials.</li> <li>Advise Country Team on the preparation of Country Strategy Papers (CSPs); These objectives are achieved through operations designed to support reforms and build institutional capacity, including through policy based lending, institutional support projects, technical assistance and upstream analytical and advisory work. OSGE's activities are in line with the Bank's Ten Year Strategy (TYS) as well as the Governance Strategic Framework and Action Plan.</p><p>The Governance Division is engaged in mainstreaming governance matters into Bank Group operations and promoting good governance in RMCs through supporting activities and initiatives aimed at improving transparency and accountability in public financial management, fighting corruption, building capacity, and strengthening institutions. The Division is responsible for preparing governance assessments, governance policy based operations, institutional capacity building and technical assistance operations, and the provision of Bank support to international, continent wide and regional governance initiatives (Africa Peer Review Mechanism, etc.) together with other relevant Departments of the Bank.<br/><strong><br/>Duties and responsibilities</strong><br/>Under the supervision of the Director, Governance Economic and Financial Management, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the staff of the Division, and planning, organizing as well as coordinating its activities.
