Position and Responsibility: The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Universityresponsible to the Vice Chancellorfor the day-to-day general administrative worof th UniversityHe isby virtue of the officethe Secretary to Council, SenateCongregation and Convocation of the UniversityThe Registrar istherefore, expected to give positive leadership in the administration of the University.

Qualifications and Experience: The candidate must possess a good honours degreefrom a recognized University plus a minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience with at least ten (10) years cognate experience in University administrationThe candidate should not be below the rank of Deputy RegistrarPossession of Higher Degree (s) and a formal training in the administration of Tertiary Education Institutionwill be an advantageCandidates should also be of good healthsound judgmentpleasant disposition and unassailablintegrityMembership of recognized professional bodies will be an added advantageThe candidate should be ICT literate and not be more than sixty (60years in ageon appointment.

Salary/Conditions of Service: The salary and conditions of serviceshall be as obtainable in the NigeriaUniversity system.

Tenure: The appointment shall be for one term of five (5) years only.

Each application, with Curriculum Vitae, should be forwarded in twenty-flve (25) copies, to reach the

Not later than (30) days from the date of this publication. Applicats should also request their referees to send reports on them under confidentiaI cover, dlrect to the Vice Chancellor. "Application for the post of Registrar" should be marked at the top left hand corner of the envelope.
