Description
Position is   for manager of the Business Operations team for the Global Data Center Facilities   management organization. This position is responsible for managing a group of   financial and business operations analysts that oversee and manage both Capital   and Operations expenses for the various data center programs worldwide.   Responsibility will include the management of all capital budgets for DC builds,   maintenance, expansions, and upgrades. Also will be responsible for the   management, metrics, and spend targets for the operational expense budgets for   these data centers, including making sure spend does not exceed budget. Further   responsibility includes management of the DC consolidation initiative budget,   including overseeing all financial spend approval, managing budget targets, and   reporting financials. This individual will act as the primary interface to Global   real-estate for ES data center spend.
Other responsibilities   will include interfacing with workload placement, DC strategy, and asset   management to gather and report all metrics that upper management requires to run   the business. Some limited travel may be required due to the Global nature of the   job.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's   degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent   work experience. May hold Master's or advanced degree in related field. Typically   10+ years of relevant experience
Knowledge and Skills   Required:
- Experience with program project management
   - Experience with OLA management
   - Experience with vendor management
   - Knowledge of change management lifecycle
   - Knowledge of Data Center Strategy & Builds tools and products
   - Ability to create a sense of community among regional capability leaders where   best practices and ideas for continuous improvement are shared openly
   - Deep understanding of delivery account model
   - Ability to develop best practices and improve standardization throughout the   capability
   - Organization deployment skills as expected from a director role
   - Financial and executive management skills
   - Strong skills in strategic operations, delivery execution, communications, and   general business acumen
   - Ability to create financials, produce accurate metrics, and manage to   financial targets
   - Ability to lead and align leaders with diverse set of expectations and   perspectives
