- To coordinate the management of books of accounts and general ledger and ensure that all postings/entries are effected in accordance with Standard Accounting Practices and regulatory provisions.
- Responsible for managing and coordinating budgeting and management reporting functions, ensuring accuracy of financial records and compliance with financial management principles.
- Manage the organisations accounts in a manner that ensure the attainment of financial and corporate goals
- Carry on standard operation procedures for daily procedures and processes
- Production of statutory accounts, balance sheet etc
- Ensure allocated statutory accounts are prepared and reviewed
- Other activities as may be assigned by the organization.
Qualifications- Minimum of B.Sc. in any accounting or administrative discipline
- Minimum of 3 - 6 years' experience in a related position
- Professional qualification in ICAN, ACCA is compulsory
- Must be skilled in accounting software packages
- Proficiency in Microsoft office especially Excel.
- High acumen for figure, accuracy and attention to details
- Proficiency in financial accounting & reporting, including external statutory reporting and audit
- Management accounting experience including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Trustworthiness, discretion & confidentiality
