Merchant Quality Officer


Purpose Statement:
The role holder will be responsible for liaising and communicating with merchants on product deals.

Key Accountabilities:
·         Working on product Schedules
·         Keeping merchants informed and responding to their queries
·         Building strong relationships with merchants
·         Making mystery calls to authenticate the fine prints of deals
·         Manage, analyze and review the mystery shopping process
·         Perform other associated responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
·         This position requires a University graduate or its equivalent with at least 1 year of working experience in a customer service function or in a similar position.
·         Highly detail-oriented and extremely organized
·         Good Interpersonal skills
·         Great negotiation skills and ability to network and influence people
·         Candidate must possess ability to multi task in a dynamic environment

The following skills are essential:
·         Analytical ability
·         Creative imagination and problem solving
·         Must be Computer Literate

Merchant Reconciliation Officer


Purpose Statement:
The role holder will work closely with the Merchant Payment Co-coordinator and will be responsible for reconciling invoices for Merchants & DealDey. Responsible for processing a high volume of transactions which are required to be completed in a timely, accurate, and organized manner.

Key Accountabilities:
·         Research discrepancies, determine course of action and provide data to Merchant Relations as necessary
·         Create invoices consistent with the invoice data provided
·         Compare, review, and analyze invoices to the data maintained in payable system and process accordingly
·         Process all discrepancies, adjustments, or exceptions according to established guidelines
·         Send approved contracts and payment breakdown to all merchants as regards their deals
·         Communicate with merchants on possible takeout dates
·         Ensure each transaction is processed in compliance with company policies and procedures
·         Escalate and seek guidance for invoice transactions

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
·         This position requires a University graduate or its equivalent with at least 1 year of working experience in a similar position
·         Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
·         Highly detail-oriented and extremely organized
·         Ability to prioritize workload
·         Accuracy
·         Candidate must possess ability to multi task in a dynamic environment

The following skills are essential:

·         Account reconciliation

Merchant Relationship Officer


Purpose Statement:
The job holder will work directly with the Merchant Services Manager and will be responsible for all in-house merchant enquiries and correspondences.

Key Accountabilities:
·         Inform, prepare and advise merchants on their forth-coming service deals
·         Take records of service deals going live and those queued for next batch
·         Define and manage report generation, compilation and analysis as needed to support goals and objectives
·         Review new accounts and additional site applications
·         Possess a working knowledge of the deals policy
·         Answer inquiries and provides support to merchants with problems, complaints and product information
·         Maintain a good relationship with merchants

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
·         This position requires a University graduate or its equivalent with at least 1 year of working experience in a customer service function or in a similar position
·         Highly detail-oriented and extremely organized

Job Description
  •     Take charge of all the accounts maintained in the company.
  •     Ensures that all cash and bank books are up to date.
  •     Prepares and files all tax returns, financial statements, annual accounts, manual cheques, income tax returns, and other government reports.
  •     Prepares and submits monthly financial reports.
  •     Reviews projections and expenditure report to determine funding requirement for the Preparation of budgets for the fiscal year.
  •     Reviews and processes expense vouchers, invoices, and other fiscal documents.
  •     Reconciles the various financial reports and other data concerning fiscal operations.
  •     Analyse Operations, develop and recommends effective method, systems and flow of work.
  •     Monitors petty cash disbursement and processing of payment.
  •     Maintains and services points of account with the administrative office concerning accounting issues.
  •     Prepare audit schedules and record all cheques.
Requirements
  •     A male, not more than 28yrs old
  •     A resident of Abuja
  •     Have knowledge of the Microsoft packages
  •     Knowledge of accounting software, such as peachtree, quickbooks etc.
  •     Hard working, innovative and articulate
  •     Excellent interpersonal skills.
