Experience: at least 10 years in the petrochemical industry and 3 years offshore experience, should be able to clearly identify quality problems and the required corrective action, write and qualify NDT procedure's, have radiography interpretation, identify welding defects, qualify welders, qualify WPS and witness PQR's, review quality procedures, carry out audits. Certification for materials and other quality activities that may be required. Storage Tank repair and construction experience is mandatory | | | | 13. Discipline Engineer | 7 or more years of experience with degree from a recognized institution. Capable of complex design and establishing technical direction in a specific discipline. Possesses strong technical writing skills for original defense of engineering decisions and recommendations. Accepts responsibility in supervising others within his/her discipline. May hold a Professional Engineering Registration. | | | | 14. Safety Coordinator | Must have international or national recognized Safety Industry qualifications.
Minimum 5-10 years of project safety controls experience, carry out safety induction, must be fully conversant with latest safety requirements, must understand safe working practices (JSA's & Toolbox meetings), must be able lead accident, LT1, near miss, etc., investigations and reporting, must be fully conversant with certification for life saving devices, lifting devices, sling and shackle testing requirements, and a good communicator, and any other work within his capabilities. Able to interface well with construction supervisors in stewarding the engineering design at the construction site.
