Job Purpose
To coordinate and represent the business membership organization for the purpose of developing an organization network which adds value to members businesses and presents a formidable forum for public advocacy.
- Promotes Trade & Investments and represents the interest of the business community on matters relating Trade and Investments.
- Collates and disseminates information on business and trade, especially regulations, tariffs and other matters affecting local and foreign markets.

- Maintains regular consultations with government departments and agencies on policies and measures affecting businesses and the economy.

- Promotes the collective and individual business interest of its members and provides customized services to individual members whilst ensuring harmony in the chamber despite competition in business.

- Develops business directory of members in order to enhance marketing and networking within and outside the chamber.
- Organizes in-house & off-site trainings/workshops/seminars for members and non-members.
- Carries out consultancy services for members, especially on development of business plan, feasibility study, market research and new entrants into Nigeria and foreign markets.
- Provides management and technical leadership for the successful running of the chamber.
Qualification/Experience- A Minimum of First Degree in Economics or related discipline, Masters or Professional Qualification will be an advantage.
- Ideal candidate should be computer literate and have adequate knowledge of Nigerian business environment.
- A minimum of ten (10) years working experience in business development of large corporation or business membership organization.

- The primary job responsibility for the PHP developer position is to provide PHP programming and functionality for a variety of consumer-related websites, intranets, extranets and web-based applications.

- Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use.
- Develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.
- Develop external Web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.
- Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn.
Skills Required & Qualifications - Candidate should possess a BA/B.Sc in a related discipline and years of experience in a similar field.
- Professional certification will be an added advantage.
- Proven Web and Database Development experience.
- In depth PHP, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS and (X) HTML5 knowledge
- Strong database knowledge specifically SQL Server and MySQL
- Web / Graphical Design skills would be desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of graphic design packages such as Fireworks or Photoshop in order to produce basic layout and manipulate images.
- Skills in e-commerce and server side technologies, such as PHP, and internet security are also important.
