Job Description

  • The successful candidate will provide for the technology needs of customers, the management needs of staff, and the growth and income of the company.
  • The GM guided by objectives and directives established by the Board of Directors, will be responsible for all operational and functional areas of the company including technology deployment and performance and ensuring customers consistently receive exceptional service.
Responsibilities
  • The GM will oversee all areas of business which the organisation provides telecommunications service to in the four (4) geo-political regions across Nigeria namely: Abuja (North), Port Harcourt (South East) Ibadan (South West) and Lagos.
  • The GM will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and controlling all lines of business including but not limited to, recruiting, training and deploying professional technical services and security personnel to mass locations.
  • Determine objectives, establish operating procedures and ensure the success of the business within the guidelines and authority established by the board.
  • Must enjoy working outside by visiting mass locations and ongoing mass setup projects.
  • Must carry out necessary planning, filing, and regulatory papers, supervising experienced staff and entry level staff.
  • Must be able to generate business opportunities, maintain budgets, and Return on Investment (ROI).
Qualifications
  • A Degree in Banking & Finance, Marketing, Economics, Communications & Advertising, or any Business-related field
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience, supervising staff.
  • MBA is an added advantage.
  • Experience in Technology/ Telecoms industry or related sectors.
  • Candidates with Indian, Chinese nationality will be preferred.
Skills
  • The GM must possess excellent Leadership skills.
  • Ability to supervise BDM on prospective clients and management of existing clients.
  • Must have strong presentation skills, experience with client interaction, and possess confidence to assertively and tactfully manage challenging clients.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with proven experience managing multiple, competing and changing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) with internal agency departments, vendors.
  • Extensive knowledge of working with corporate structures and business-to-business sales.
  • Technical knowledge of wireless communications technologies and securities.
  • Track record of successful revenue and profit generation annually.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suites.
  • Must possess good work ethics by exhibiting unquestionable integrity.
  • Should be able to take good decisions by proffering sound, smart decisions and welcome input from others.
  • Must possess a stint of Financial Acumen.

Basic Function of the Position

  • The incumbent, under the supervision of the cultural affairs (CAO), oversees implementation of the Mandela Washington fellowship (MWF) Program, including advertising, recruitment and selection mechanisms, as well as follow-up programs, including oversight of small grant programs, mentoring, conferences and seminars, and other assistance to program alumni.
  • Incumbent oversees YALI chat network activity and dissemination of other information.
  • Liaises with USAID on follow-up activity offered at regional MWFP centers. The job holder may be call upon for occasional work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Positions Requirements

Work Hours: Full time; 40 hours/week

Basic Functions

  • The incumbent provides medical services to approximately 156 direct hire American employees and approximately 85 dependents of all agencies at post as primary care physician. S/He sees 377 Foreign Service National employees upon occasion of injury on the job, referring any who become ill at work to their private physicians.
  • S/He helps in planning and administering the health program at post, including at - post hospitalizations and medical evacuations. S/He serves as consulting and on - call physician for high - level VIP visits when the RMO and/or FSHP are not present.
Position Requirements

  • Medical Degree from the U.S. or western European equivalent is required with a license to practice in Nigeria.   • Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, and OB/GYN. The incumbent must possess the following experience: international medical evacuations and experience of providing medical services during disaster
  • Level IV (fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing in English, the use of professional medical terminology is required. Language proficiency will be tested.
  • Must have good working knowledge of Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advances Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Emergency Preparedness for chemical, biological and radiological situations.
  • Regular attendance of the annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) training and seminars to stay current with medical practice at U.S. standards is required.
  • Must be sensitive to the needs and feelings of others and have a customer - service orientation.
