Job Summary:
A head pastry chef is the person who knows how to guide the other pastry personnel in order to satisfy all his clients including food lovers and haters. He should also be able to implement working schedules for all pastry cooks and he is to use the standardized recipes and procedures. He is to constantly examine his personnel and train them whenever the need arises. He would also be in charge and accountable for all pastry productions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE
- Minimum of five (5) years practical experience in the kitchen of hotel or restaurant, with at least two (2) years as a head of pastry chef.
- Must have good knowledge of local and international cuisines.
- Must have a good command of English language.
- Must be able to deal with quality control/ production control.
- Ability to keep up with the standard in his department and profession.
- A proactive person and a team player
- Must reside around Maba- Asese, Ogun State
