Job Summary
Execute facilities management services and processes using best business practice to improve efficiency by reducing operating costs whilst increasing productivity.
Principal Functions
Participate in vendor negotiations and the operations expense budgeting process.
Plan, organize and direct mechanical and electrical maintenance-related works.
Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers, vendors and contractors).
Identify and escalate facilities management issues for prompt resolution.
Co-ordinate all processes required to ensure maximum availability of facilities management services provided at all Etisalat locations by in-house or outsourced resources.
Supervise mechanical operations in all Etisalat locations, including maintenance and repairs of lifts, generators, and air conditioners.
Ensure that all electrical works and repairs carried out at all Etisalat locations are in line with Facilities Management specifications and standards, including office lightings and fittings, power supply, DStv and PABX systems, UPS, major and minor electrical repairs, etc.
Document and file mechanical and electrical related documents and drawings.
Supervise installation, maintenance and overhaul of all electrical equipment on site.
Assign jobs to tradesmen, follow up on progress and inspect finished jobs.
Oversee the implementation of all preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Order spares, tools and materials as required within budget.
Advise on replacement of equipment.
Carry out inspection of plants and machineries.
Conduct property inspections and surveys.
Facilitate and ensure 100% power availability at all Etisalat Experience Centres and offices.
Update technical documentation and operational logs pertaining to maintenance activities.
Respond to emergency faults and ensure that all faults are rectified promptly within contracted SLAs.
Conduct regular reviews of all services provided at company locations to ensure performance compliance.
Conduct regular audits of M&E installations at all Etisalat Experience Centres and offices.
Request for diesel and determine re-order levels for all Etisalat Experience Centres and offices.
Educational Requirements
HND or Bachelor’s degree in a Real Estate, Facilities Management, Building or Construction-related discipline.
Experience,Skills & Competencies
Between three (3) and five (5) years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience in a facilities, property or construction management environment.
