Overall Purpose of the Job

Principal Accountabilities

1.  To assist in inspections (visual, dimensional, gauging and comparison as appropriate) on new manufactured repaired and modified equipment and components.

2.  To raise non-conformance reports against non-conforming equipment / components and manufacturing, repair, modification quality records.

3.  Work in accordance with Goods Inwards Quality Procedures.

4.  Perform inspection surveys on returned operational equipment (Expro and Customer owned).

5.  Assist in Quality Control checks to Operations Support processes at key stages (i.e. prior to final shipment, job card completion etc).

6.  Assist in MCS checks on Expro equipment in conjunction with the Operations Support Engineer.

7.  Facilitate uploading of documentation to the Docucert application.

8.  Other reasonable duties as determined by the HSEQ Manager or Line Manager.

9.  The Job Holder's health, safety & environmental responsibilities are detailed as follows:

a)  The Job Holder must take reasonable care of own safety.

b)  Consider the safety of others who may be affected by the Job Holder's acts or emissions.

c)  Work in accordance with information and training provided.

d)  Refrain from intentionally misusing or recklessly interfering with anything that has been provided for health, safety and environmental reasons.

e)  Report any hazardous defects in plant and equipment, or shortcomings in the existing safety controls, to a responsible person without delay.

f)  Not undertake any task for which authorisation and / or training has not been given.

Job Context and Main Activities

The job operates through the inspection of equipment / components and the reviewing and checking of documentation. Reporting non-conformances.  Main activities are the use of calibrated measuring equipment, reading engineering drawings, physical inspection, reviewing vendor supplied quality assurance certification.

Job Challenges

  • Knowledge of the many different components designed by Expro or equipment purchased by Expro, their operational function and associated quality requirements.
  • Knowledge and qualification in NDT methodologies and document control systems.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

.  Minimum of 3 year experience as a workshop quality controller within a manufacturing company and familiar with quality control techniques, practices and procedures.

.  Alternatively a minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Technician and conversant with completing quality records (pressure test charts etc) and reporting non-conformities.

.  Inspection experience within an oil field repair company would be an advantage.

.  Must be conversant with the care and use of calibrated measuring instruments.

.  Must be reliable and able to work under own initiative.

.  Computer literate.




Subsea Trainee Technician at Global Career (Nigeria, Ghana and Angola)

Overall Purpose of the Job

To assist Supervisor/Senior technicians in organising the equipment in all aspects of the Well Site operations in accordance with the clients agreed programme. Supervision and

leadership of Expro Subsea personnel, commencing at the planning phase to satisfactory close out of the operation. This involves all Expro and client HSEQ policies, standards and procedures are implemented and followed for continual improvement facilitating customer satisfaction.

Principal Accountabilities:

1.  Maintain active participation with delivering HSEQC objectives as part of the country HSE quality and Competence plan. Actively participate in the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management Systems in Angola. Actively encourage and promote safety consciousness and accountability during daily activity.

2.  Working to support and deliver the Excellence In Operations initiative to continually exceed our customer's expectations.

3.  Assist Supervisor/Senior Technicians with to determine equipment requirements and facilitate mobilisation and demobilisation at the Well site.

4.  Actively participate in the onsite lessons learned process and investigate poor performance issues, establish actions to demonstrate continuous improvement

5.  Conduct Pre- and Post-job meetings with crews in conjunction with Well Site supervisor.

6.  Ensure equipment and safety systems are installed and pressure- and function tested prior to commencement of Subsea completion operations as per the client's completions programme.

7.  Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with the Subsea operating guidelines; equipment is in full compliance with Expro certification standards.

8.  Ensure Risk assessments are performed for any equipment or tasks not presently covered in the risk assessment register.

9.  Timely reporting on all service quality- and HSE related incidents as detailed in the reporting guidelines matrix.

10.  Data collection accurately recorded and presented professionally for the field and also final client operations report.

11.  Customer requirements and Well Site objectives understood and effectively managed.

12.  Liaise with Supervisor/Senior Technician daily to ensure Well Site support requirements are adequately executed as planned with respect to material spares inventories and maintenance.

13.  Timely compilation of concise onshore QMS paperwork, including equipment maintenance reports and identified problem areas to support Expro's continuous improvement.

14.  Not to undertake any task for which authorisation and/or appropriate training has not been given.

Dimensions

.Execute Supervisor/Senior Tech directives for all aspects of the ELSA Subsea operation at the well site covering equipment preparation pre-running checks and active monitoring.

.Maintain maximum operational functionality of equipment and operational effectiveness.

.Support Subsea Supervisor in daily Well Site and onshore workshop activity

.Maintain up to date documentation with respect to stock and spares inventories, critical path items.

Purpose of the Job:



§ Provide a high level of technical consultancy to our customers focused on

support for accounts in the assigned territory.

§ Drive the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned 

opportunities.

responding to RFI/RFQ/RFPs, etc., actively probing customers for technical

Qualification:

§ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
§ CCNP & CCDP certifications required
§ CCIE R&S highly desirable

Skills Required:



§ 5-7 years of demonstrable experience in Cisco products & solutions or 
relevant experience in key competitor offerings


§ Knowledge of baseline SE skills and In-depth knowledge of specific solutions 

in the following areas: Campus Switching, MAN/WAN & IP routing, Multicast 

Routing, Security, QOS, VPNs, MPLS, Voice & Unified Communications, Voice & 

Video convergence, TelePresense, Optical Networking, Data Center & Storage 

Area Networking, Wireless & Mobility services.



§ Competitive knowledge (in their area of specialization) including solution,
