Key Roles & Responsibilities

3.To work closely with corporate banking team and identify appropriate clients for marketing the online FX Trading Platform.
4.Set up new revenue streams by exploring new market niches and selectively introducing new products.
5.Set up a clear and coherent marketing and calling plan across existing and potential clients.
6.Monitor business performance on an ongoing business vis-a-vis budget and take proactive measures to achieve it.
7.Ensure the clients of the bank are serviced efficiently by quick quotation of rates, quality inputs on the market and regular contact on the telephone.
8.Ensure compliance with all applicable Group Compliance Standards and local regulations under the CRM framework
9.Conduct presentations to existing and potential customers in order to increase awareness of the Treasury products and to build relationships.
10.Work closely with the rest of the sales team in handling all flow clients FX and Fixed Income requests.
Qualifications & Skills
A University degree with a miniumu of a 2nd class grade with a post Graduation qualification
Professional qualifications such a ACI Dealing Certificate, CFA etc
Good knowledge and understanding of all financial market products including but not limited to derivative structures linked to currencies, interest rates, commodities equities etc.
Good knowledge and understanding of the domestic and international financial markets.
Knowledge and understanding of other treasury product.
Should be conversant with all operational aspects of Treasury
Possess the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
Possess the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Mathematics, computer skills and understanding of economics.
Good analytical skills and the ability to identify opportunities in the market
Good Marketing and Communications skills together with good interpersonal skills

Job description Geosciences Head

Job Objective/ Purpose of Job:

To build and maintain a strong and cross-functionally integrated Geosciences capability to support the asset-based organisation.

    Develop Geosciences staff and enhance their competencies through continuous assessment of skills, design and implementation of training and career development plans (in consultation with the asset managers).
    As technical expert on all geoscience activities, introduce, implement and maintain technologies, tools, guidelines and workflows that enable the ADS and well & reservoir management processes and activities to be delivered and fully in line with global geoscience technical standards.
    Provide Technical and Value Assurance of all Geosciences input to key Asset Management deliverables as the operating company's technical authority on geosciences.
    Develop, maintain and deliver in-house technical courses and best practice guidelines in integrated reservoir modelling for reservoir and field studies input to field development plans.
    Ensure quality management of Geosciences data, information, documents and records.
    As part of the global Nigeria subsurface studies team (GNSST) leadership, support all NBU projects at the opportunity identification, planning and execution stages and act as geoscience custodian of all geoscience content both for internal and external (NAPIMS, DPR) engagements.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

    Create/adapt and recommend technical standards for Asset Management geosciences practice.
    Technical Authority for Geosciences in APDNL & APENL, and thereby accountable for the functional quality of all Geosciences work carried out on NBU projects, including the deployment of approved technical standards and the integration of the Geosciences results in development projects and the management of assets.
    Ensuring that across APDNL & APENL, all geoscience related safety critical activities (shallow, geo hazards etc.) are identified and have effective response processes.
    Development and execution of Geosciences Functional Improvement Plans for APDNL & APENL.
    Development of skills and competencies of the Geosciences skill-pool in APDNL & APENL including resourcing of new staff and development of standard Geosciences learning programmes, together with technical coaching and mentoring schemes, and the implementation of on-boarding programs for new technical professionals within the discipline.
    Provide input to scope of geological, geophysical and petrophysical work required to support short, medium and long term Technical Work Programmes for APDNL and APENL development assets
    Plan, implement, supervise, and monitor all geosciences technical studies projects, leading to detailed description of subsurface formations, quantification of oil and gas resources, and estimation of exploitation risks.
    Provide leadership for geosciences inputs into Field Development Planning for APDNL and APENL assets
    Identify need for, and supervise delivery of 3rd party studies (by contractors) to ensure agreed specifications on quality, time, and costs are met.
    Act as lead resource person on geosciences related prospect evaluation issues and development projects requiring quick turn-around times (rapid deployment).
    Continually monitor industry technology trends to identify, test, and recommend cost efficient subsurface evaluation software and hardware; manage geosciences technology deployment within the Asset Management team.
    Lead technical defence of geosciences basis for investment plans before internal and external stakeholders (the company Decision Review Board, NAPIMS, DPR).
    Technical coach for all geoscientists in APNL.
    Member of the APNL Technical studies leadership team and act as Senior Manager technical studies as delegated.

Key Performance Indicators/ Performance Goals:

    Attracting and retaining experienced and talented Geosciences staff.
    Maintaining a suitable balance between Technical Assurance and Coaching roles.
    Raise Technical Quality of Geosciences deliverables.
    Achieving a marked improvement in geosciences process safety-critical performance corporately, for well delivery (shallow hazards, geo-hazards etc.)
    Ensuring compliance with approved technical standards and processes.
    Supporting improvements in the performance on well delivery (cost and DUR promise) through leadership of asset well readiness sessions and asset management input to DWOP and well monitoring.

Financial Dimensions:

    Required to provide budget inputs and manage assigned budget(s)
    Lead the contracting process for Technical studies that may be carried by indigenous contractors.

Requirements Geosciences Head

    Minimum B.Sc. in Geology or Geophysics. M. Sc. will be an advantage.
    Membership of relevant professional organisation(s) such as NAPE, NMGS, AAPG or SPE is desirable but not necessarily a prerequisite.
    Seasoned technical professional with at least fifteen years of experience in the area of Production Geology/Seismology and at least fundamental application of petrophysics, with strong leadership skills. The last three years should be at least at the principal geoscientist engineering level.
    A working knowledge of Oil and Gas development work processes and proven track record in product delivery are essential.
    Proficiency in the use of subsurface evaluation software, modelling tools and Microsoft suite of applications.
    Minimum of three (3) years in a principal geoscience (or equivalent) position with coaching experience
    Initiative, integrity, leadership, communication and cross-cultural skills. Cost consciousness, ability to delegate, team spirit.
