Personal Assistant to the MD Jan 28th 2013, 14:50 Location: Lagos Description: A medium sized accounting/auditing firm based in Ikeja, Lagos requires the services of a P.A to the MD.  Responsibilities; Assist managing director in conducting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, & annual reviews of tasks and correspondences. Schedule the managing director's daily activities Ensure that travel arrangements are managed effectively Manage all necessary correspondence Conduct weekly diary meetings with the managing director to discuss upcoming engagements, invitations and other requests. Liaise with relevant individuals, external organizations etc to arrange meetings prepare agendas and draft minutes. Meeting preparation Conduct research and ensure that the managing director has extensive background information on any subject being discussed. Coordinate travel and accommodation requirements in connection with Admin department and ensure arrangements are in place for the Managing Director to match his requirements. Keep and retrieve files for the managing director as at when needed. Undertake other duties as requested by the managing director Qualifications and Requirements: B.Sc./HND in Secretarial Studies or Business Administration. Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in similar role is Compulsory Experience in accounting and corporate/secretarial practice will be an added advantage. Good keyboard skills and high proficiency in the use of software packages (notably MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
