Successful candidate will be required to: Supervise activities of the branch to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to customers Develop and implement branch strategic plan Develop and implement branch business development activities Create and maintain strong relationship with existing and potential clients Quote and agree terms with direct clients and brokers Develop and implement credit control strategies for the branch Ensure that the branch has the needed resources to meet stated objectives Coach and train various level of staff in the Branch to enhance performance on the job Ensure timely inspection and investigation of reported claims Ensure that all transactions are promptly and accurately documented Approve petty cash expenses for the Branch Conduct weekly marketing review meeting Conduct weekly marketing performance appraisal of members Attend bi-monthly Business/Performance Review Meeting at the Regional Office Attend quarterly Marketing Strategy Review Meeting with Regional Lead Conduct quarterly appraisal exercise of subordinates Ensure timely preparation of various reports for Management Prepare annual budget for consolidation Responsibilities Commitment to Performance Contract Commitment to deliver agreed revenue budget Commitment to deliver cash collection of 95% of production Commitment to claims ratio of 25% The PersonThe right candidate must: Possess relevant working knowledge of the insurance market Be able to perform with minimal supervision Possess first degree in insurance or any social science field from a reputable institution of higher learning Possess ACII or MBA Possess a minimum of 6 years' experience in marketing/sales with a leading insurance company
