Successful candidate will be required to: Lead the business development activities of the Company Develop and deploy winning strategies for excellent services delivery Develop strategies for maintaining enduring relationships with existing and potential clients Identify opportunities for opening new business outlets for the Company Identify and develop new markets within the country Supervise the activities of regions and branches to ensure positive contributions to company-wide objectives Provide strong leadership for various levels of staff under the Division through mentoring and coaching Advise management on key planning issues and make recommendations on important business decisions Ensure all Team Leads are fully informed of operational objectives, duration, monitoring and compliance with key performance indicators Set operational and/or performance goals which are aggressive and achievable for each department Establish and monitor performance reporting systems Monitor group's performance against performance goals of the Company to ensure that progress is being made Conduct regular meetings with Team Leads to ensure that priorities are clear and coordination is good Ensure activities comply with organizational requirements for quality management, legal stipulations and general duty of care Support CEO and Board in formulating organizational and strategic plans and building key alliances Coordinate and ensure adequate execution and funding of key strategies, projects and policies Establish operational processes/process improvement Manage strategy implementation, particularly regarding timelines Ensure quality control of all Company output as pertains to customer acquisition and delivery of servicesResponsibilities Commitment to deliver agreed Performance Contract Commitment to deliver cash collection of 95% of production Commitment to retention ratio of 95% of all renewable accounts Providing strong leadership for the Group Commitment to claims ratio of 25% The PersonThe right candidate must: Possess relevant working knowledge of the insurance market Be able to conduct meetings and presentations skillfully Be detailed and results oriented Be a strong negotiator Possess superior management, leadership and supervisory skill Be professional and objective Be self-driven Possess first degree in insurance or any social science field from a reputable institution of higher learning Be an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Insurance of Nigeria Possess a minimum of 12 years' experience in marketing insurance services with a leading insurance company
