Adexen Nigeria - A leading Engineering Construction company to recruit a Rigger/Slinger, (Chainmen) for their project operations in Nigeria
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling rigging to lift and move equipment or material on construction projects. Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves, sling and chains, according to weight and size of load to be moved.
Requirements
- Candidate should have a minimum of Technical School Certificate/OND.
- Must have five years experience in construction industry and in similar role.
- Must be literate as they will undergo training and both theoretical and practical examinations
- Must be safety conscious, confident and articulate.
- slinging /fleeting certificate is an added advantage
- Working knowledge/understanding in the safe operation of the quick release mechanism for shores.
- Have a proven track record in a slinging role
- Must be customer responsive and creative.
- Ability to learn new things.
- Good team player and attention to details.
