Functions and Duties: General secretarial duties Section secretarial tasks, management of calendar, appointment of the Head of section and section staff, keeping diaries and phone calls, drafting letters and other communications, management of miscellaneous correspondence, coordination and processing of documents related to political relations with Nigeria and ECOWAS. Managing communication and preparations for EU working groups. filing of printed and electronic materials, including development and management of an appropriate filing system Proof reading Assisting the information and communication team in press management, internet webpage, and the organisation of events within and outside the delegation; Research (Internet and otherwise) Organisiug meetings, missions ilnd travel arrangements including all logistics, Management of administrative affairs Register correspondence and follow-up in EU systems Education and Training: diploma, post secondary qualification or equivalent qualification in secretarial studies is required; a university degree will be an advantage. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in secretarial field is required (more than 5 years will be an asset) in previous experience within a diplomatic embassy of all international organisation will be an advantage. Skills: Excellent command Of English language; both oral and written. Knowledge of French is an advantage
