TECHNICIANS NEEDED AT WTS ENERGY (OIL & GAS) Nov 20th 2012, 06:00 Job description: Pipeline Technician The position is primarily that of a Project Technician whose main function will be to carry out Pipeline Pigging operations and assist with Inspection of Pipelines using Ultrasonic Intelligent Pigging Technology. Assist with sales opportunities in our area of operation, namely pipeline operators within Nigeria and West Coast Africa area. Perform site visits. Carry out all duties required for preparation of Intelligent Pigging & Inspection of Product Pipelines, including pre-engineering & modifications of existing pipelines to prepare them for cleaning & intelligent pigging. Comply with all aspects of the company HSQA system. Requirements Pipeline Technician High School Diploma. At least a Technical National Diploma (ND) in mechanical engineering or similar. 2-3 Years working experience in the field of pipelines. Excellent health (this is a specific job requirement due to the working environment). Much of the work will be carried out in the "offshore" oil & gas environment, it will be necessary to travel by both air (helicopter) and sea and live on offshore oil platforms. The candidate must be willing to travel and live in these conditions with no adverse effects. Able to travel (must have a current passport). APPLY HERE
