| Chef Manager Jan 22nd 2013, 13:53 Location: Abuja Description: A topclass restaurant in Abuja needs a professional Food Nutritionist to take up this position Responsibilities:- To ensure the prompt service of all meals in the restaurants' standard and meet the clients specification
- To obtain supplies and purchases from the company appointed suppliers
- To assist where necessary with the production and service of the food offer
- To ensure that the methods of food preparation, production and presentation comply with standards and client's specifications
- To complete and maintain all legislative paper work as require by law
- To maintain the company standard of hygiene and safety taking any action as is necessary
- To develop and update cleaning schedules as and when necessary
- To ensure that all areas under your control are left clean and tidy at all times and that all equipment is switched off at the end of each shift.
- To maintain professional and satisfactory relationships at all levels of the client organization
- To attend all customer complaints and compliments within the timelines and timeframes as laid down by the client
- to ensure the company's accountancy documentation and administration procedures are carried out to the approved standard and the necessary weekly returns are completed accurately and sent to the banks by the appointed time
- To ensure that all new staff are inducted according to company policy and job training completed and documented as planned
- To conduct regular security checks
- To ensure that all deliveries and received and recorded as per company requirements
- To maintain training records for staff ensuring that the individual need are recognized and met through on or off job training
- To control and discipline staff according to the needs of the establishment within the procedure laid down by the company
- To attend and take all necessary action, statutory or otherwise in the event of accidents, fire theft, lost property, unfit food , damage or other irregularities.
- To attend meetings, conferences and training courses as requested.
- To attend to any other reasonable request made by the management.
Qualifications and Requirements:- Minimum of HND in a related field
- 1-3 years experience
- Ability to design food menus that are balanced and healthy for different segments of our target market.
