Content Writer/Web Administrator Jan 14th 2013, 10:33 Location: Lagos Description: A foremost promotions, awareness, PR, branding, marketing and  online solutions company with expertise in promotion campaigns using social media like facebook, twitter, blogs, youtube, linked in, blackberry, SMS and email. We also specialize in management of social network accounts, content creation, graphic design and e-commerce. We are currently looking for suitably qualified professionals to fill this position.   Responsibilities: Drafting news, savvy information from pre-researched content for the company's followers/users on multiple social network platforms including: facebook, twitter, company website, pinterest and others Recommending competition opportunities; Writing and linking stories with competition opportunities and features; Linking of stories and features to portal content and sponsor content and sites Copy-editing and proof reading content Finding and developing new ideas for content writing Assuring content is user-friendly, current and key-worded (SEO)   Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Journalism, Creative Writing, English or Mass Communication Minimum of 1 year experience in creating content for high traffic website would be ideal Creativity and excellent written language skills Fluent in English Ability to type very fast Must be computer and internet savvy Graphic design skills will be an added advantage Must be adept in current affairs Must be conversant with internet tools and online navigation Passionate about writing and strong interest in gaining experience in editorial and web publishing. Display a keen interest in web usability and marketing. Competent in data capturing A motivated self-starter, who can both take direction but also work on their own initiative. Outgoing and social personality. Flexible, adaptive and versatile Must be able to work with minimal supervision and may work remotely Have studied abroad preferably in the UK/US a plus.
