Regional Sales Manager Jan 29th 2013, 14:16 Location: Lagos Description: Our client is over 10 yrs old in the Pharma industry with a leading position in one chronic disease management and products in many other therapeutic segments, and is currently re-focusing and re-positioning; and urgently required top-performers and entrepreneurial leaders. Job Summary: successful candidates will be the regional Chief Sales and Business Development officer for their respective regions. He / She will lead and manage a team of Medical representatives and deliver regional sales and marketing objectives. He must be a self-starter with a focus on delivering results through the trade, institutions and alternate channels. Responsibilities: Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change. Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions. Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives. Maintains and expands customer base by counselling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities. Qualifications and requirements: B. Pharm with minimum of 7-yr post qualification experience in the Pharma industry with at least 2-year as Area/Regional Sales Manager B.
