Location: Lagos
Description:

An Oil and Gas servicing company in Lagos requires the services of a temporary Human Resource Officer, who will work for a 3 - 4 month period on contract basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with recruitment processes.
  • HR policy management .
  • Managing personnel records.
  • Managing employee probation.
  • Implementing leave management process.
  • Issuing and managing employment contract.
  • Implementing training and development process.
  • Managing employee benefits, pensions, health care, life assurance, etc.
  • Managing employee disengagement.
  • Assisting with performance management and improvement tracking.
  • Assist with implementing new employee induction programme.
  • Training logistics and records keeping.
  • Pension PFA documentation and relationship management.
  • Life insurance list updating and management.
  • Workmen's compensation list update and management.
  • Assisting with the performance management process.
  • Assisting with preparation and circulation of the newsletter.
  • Staffs exit documentation and management.
  • Email address management and email management induction.
  • Employee welfare issues; birthdays, condolences, marriages, etc.
  • Maintaining confidential employee information and records.
  • Provide authorized information from employee personal records.
  • Keep track of employee personal details; address, marital status, changes in job titles, etc.
  • Issuance of identity cards and other HR documents to new staff.
  • Preparing input for HR Monthly report.
  • Any other job assignments given by the HR Manager. 

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate must be a graduate of an institution of higher learning. 
  • He/She must have had a minimum of 2 years experience in a core Human Resource position. 
  • The ideal candidate must have knowledge of performance evaluation techniques. 
  • The individual must be well versed in formula creation and use within a Microsoft Excel environment. 
  • Candidate must be experienced in carrying out Performance Evaluations, must also be knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft office packages especially Excel, Must be knowledgeable in HR practices.
