Job Purpose 
To sustain and enhance targeted gross revenue in respective Zone by effective implementation of planned strategies that aim at improving distribution channel. 
  
Key Responsibilities 
1. Increase Active SIM & Recharge Outlets 

  • Controls the distribution width and depth of the zone
2. Increase number of Channel Partners 
  • Liaise and collaborate with Channel partners to identify ways to and the dealers and thereby increase penetration
  • Recommend measures to increase tertiary sales from existing & new retailers
3. To Achieve Tertiary Recharge Sales 
  • Coordinate all sales activities so that sales turnover are optimized
  • Timely communication of all schemes /product launches to distributors and retailers
4. Achieve Gross Pre Paid targets 
  • Maximize sales through effective execution and implementation of placement and distribution strategies
5. Manage, Train and Develop Field Sales Employee (FSE)

Back-up and Storage Officer, to support the Data Centre Manager in meeting the team's strategic goals and objectives.

Job Title: Back-up and Storage Officer 


Responsibilities:

  • Are to ensure the IT/Data Center operations are on a very high standard and ensuring 100% availability, reliability and maintainability of all production systems.
  • Storage systems administration and technical Support, and responsible for maintaining and ensuring high integrity data, and data disaster recovery.
  • Provide first hand production support for all enterprise NetApp storages and Unix servers (E25K, F6800, F6500, V880, etc.).
  • Supporting implementation of the bank's Production platform and storage framework.
  • Establish and Maintain seamless support to DBAs and Application Developers as regarding platform and storage requirement for availability and performance.
  • Provide smart hand support as required to all other production related systems in the datacenter. (E.g.: Cognos server, Mantas, Mail and Exchange, DPM, etc.)
  • Provide first level support to critical systems infrastructure equipment (e.g.: UPS, HVAC, etc.).
  • Ensure daily flexcube database tape backup and restoration of database on the test environment for UAT.
  • Symantec Veritas Cluster (SVC) and Storage Volume Manager (SVM) administration.
  • Liaising and working with vendors in resolving technical issues and support.
  • Responsible for backup ancillary applications and databases.
  • Coordinate testing, upgrade and configuration of system files and services, and ensure changes are in accordance with appropriate operating procedures.
  • Implement and Maintain System security policy and controls (Creating and maintaining of users privileges).
  • Participating and Contribution to formulation of IT Policy and Strategic Plan in area of production system, storages and backup equipment administration. 
  • Establish and administer data backup and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Conduct Systems Performance Monitoring/Turning and Capacity Monitoring planning for future storage requirements of the databases.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years working experience in unix-solaris, storage and backup administration
  • Good grade (1st or 2nd Class Upper) of University degree or HND with post graduate result in Computer Engineering or related courses;
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle-Solaris Administration
  • Expert Knowledge of Oracle-linux Administration
  • Expert knowledge os NetApp Storage Administration.
  • Adequate Knowledge of Backup Administration using NetBackup, Comvault and other third party software.
  • Adequate knowledge of Data Recovery and Data Warehousing
  • Knowledge of Oracle Database
  • Technical skill in administer Datacenter infrastructures.
