JOB TITLE: Demand Creation Officer: Niger

The Demand Creation Officer will work closely with the Programme Manager and team in providing technical support and direct implementation of projects for iCCM activities focused on community engagement and mobilization.  The officer will coordinate the development of demand creation strategies for the project as well as ensure roll-out of project demand activities to meet international standards..

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure interpersonal communication and counselling for health and community based health workers;

Coordinate the development and roll-out of training manuals for facility and community health committees and community mobilisers;
Work closely with the service delivery officer to coordinate the selection of communities in the selected LGAs for iCCM implementation

Contribute to the project's exit strategy as part of the project design; and ensure inclusion of relevant activities to promote sustainability within the work-plan and smooth transition of the project to government;

REQUIREMENTS:
A post-graduate degree in one of the following; Communication, Social Sciences, Public Health or other related disciplines is required for this position.
S/he must have a minimum of 3-years' experience working in a developing Country with excellent project health communication skills. .
The ideal candidate must be excellent in Communication planning, Management as well as Monitoring and Evaluation.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills are essential for this position as well as a good knowledge of public health principles.

As leader of the tax Nigeria / Ghana and Sierra Leone , you will be responsible for all tax aspects of IBM's operations in these countries . This includes regulatory requirements and to support our business ( including sales and distribution , delivery services and international shared service centers )
You possess all the corporate income tax , withholding tax and VAT compliance issues / GST , including having responsibility for relationships with external service providers and monitor the commitment to manage the filing of tax returns and to tax payments . You coordinate tax audits and the relationship with the tax authorities. You will be in close contact with finance and accounting personnel both locally and IBM centers of excellence. In addition, you will identify pro - actively weaknesses in current processes and identify solutions to ensure that tax processes are in place and to provide the correct output .
Manage our various business units will ask for your expert advice on tax issues both domestic and cross-border context . In the area of ??tax planning, you will be part of the team of IBM Global Tax , strong support of International M & A transactions and other strategic initiatives.

Ideally, you have proven your leadership as a leader in one of the " Big 4 " or as a manager of the tax internally in a MNC (ideally 4-7 years of experience) . Having a vision, business acumen and commercial awareness of the risk would be to your advantage. Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure will be well rounded profile .

Ability to articulate the benefits of Microsoft technologies to senior business and technical decision makers mapped to the operational priorities of the customer base

EDUCATION:
BS in Business Administration with exposure to information technology (or equivalent) is required , MBA is preferable
