Job Description
Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with the QAQC Unit, reviews and approves operational instructions for adequate job inspection operations; determines appropriate documentation for operational processes and inspection.
  • Assists and/or conducts quality control reviews at client project sites.
  • Verifies and maintains quality control records.
  • Supports personnel to assure effective and competent performance of quality function.
  • Participates in the review of all project design, implementation and test documentation to assure conformance to quality control standards. This can include review of drawings, specification sheets, application procedures, testing and inspection standards, vendor inspections and customer contract specifications.
  • Carries out assigned work projects; Conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation
  • Attends scheduled meetings i.e. safety orientations and meetings; team briefing meetings and assures that established policies and procedures are followed.
  • Preparing and writing of project reports
  • Assists in tagging and quarantine procedures for rejection of in-process, finished projects and inspection projects. Authorizes rework, scrap or return to vendor decisions; consults and reviews with QA/QC Team as necessary.
  • Prepares and reviews compliant (quality) trends.
  • Reports serious or repeated failures or unreliability in quality of products.
  • Inspect and analyze existing coating application machinery/equipment, coating material specifications to verify equipment application feasibility for submission to
  • the operations department.

  • Intensive experience in fabrication and mainly in the piping, Vessels, Structural Steel etc.
