Location: Lagos
Description:
A foremost commercial law firm in Nigeria that provides a comprehensive range of specialized legal services to a highly diversified clientele including top-tier multinational, supranational and non-governmental clients seeks to recruit a highly skilled professional to fill this position.


Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage a Resourcing Database for Professional & Admin & Support Staff.
  • Assist in administering the Firm's Vacation Calendar.
  • Assist in managing the Online Performance Management System, aimed at improving supervisor/employee performance.
  • Assist in the design & annual review of Job Descriptions and KPIs.
  • Establish and manage Online Resourcing Procedure for Prospective Hires.
  • Design and manage a HRIS of personnel information.
  • Assist with managing the disengagement procedure for exiting staff members.
  • Assist in managing the engagement & disengagement procedure for Partner's Drivers.
  • Assisting with all aspects of the Firm's Organizational & Staff Training/ Development Plan.
  • Assists in managing the Staff Medical Scheme, including the Preventive Health Talks, creating awareness on Safety and Wellness issues, CPR Initiative and managing all other related services provided by the HMO.
  • Coordination of Online Online Training Interventions e.g ABA, WIPO, Informa Webinars.
  • Liaising with Offshore Law Firms for Training Information/Calendars & other training materials with the development and implementation of a Talent Management Plan for our firm
  • Assists with the development and implementation of a comprehensive Succession Plan for our firm
  • Design and management of the Firm's Summer Internship Program.
  • Design & manage prospective Hire Recruitment Tests Sessions i.e Computer Skills Test, Psychometric Testing, Pre-employment Medical Test, Presentation Test, Communication Test, Job Knowledge Test and Oral Interview Session etc.
  • Assist with On boarding procedures for all New Hires, Review of Staff Handbook, Compliance with New Hire Checklist etc.
  • Responsible for collating data and reporting on all relevant HR Metrics Turnover Rate, Absenteeism, Sick Leave etc.
  • Assists with the engagement and coordination of students on Law Chambers Attachment.
  • Assisting in managing the Firm's Benefits portfolio, inclusive of organizing other interactive interventions with provider agencies.
  • Assisting in managing all issues that relate to staff welfare e.g Weddings, Funerals, New Births etc.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Must  have managed 100 -150 Employees
  • IT Proficiency ( MS Office Suite ) 
  • Minimum of an HR Degree or Certification 
  • 7-10 Years Core HR Experience 
  • Should be between the ages of 30 – 38
