Social Media Intern Jan 14th 2013, 10:40 Location: Lagos Description: A foremost promotions, awareness, PR, branding, marketing and  online solutions company with expertise in promotion campaigns using social media like facebook, twitter, blogs, youtube, linked in, blackberry, SMS and email. We also specialize in management of social network accounts, content creation, graphic design and e-commerce. We are currently looking for suitably qualified professionals to fill this position.   Job Summary: Responsible for interaction and growth of company users. The intern will be directly involved with the social media, customer service, and marketing efforts of the company. The intern will mainly be helping with Facebook and Twitter accounts, customer inquiries, company blog, and email campaigns. He/She will also get the opportunity to be involved in other areas of the company, and there is also room for growth after the internship is over.   Responsibilities: Researching and developing industry and market tools and resources Assisting with daily administrative tasks and postings Researching and pitching ideas for blog posts and microposts Helping create and execute email marketing campaigns Working on development of social media strategy for clients Monitoring social media analytics and creating reports Helping build community on social media platforms for clients Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of OND in any discipline Must have a strong command of online search techniques and be tech-savvy. Knowledgeable about Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Pinterest, YouTube and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be very organized and efficient, with excellent attention to detail. Should have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Business savvy with blogging Skills Ability to design and manage online marketing programs focusing on building awareness and customer acquisition.
